Connection is at the heart of what we do at Papar - That’s why, under the center of the watch face, on the GMT disc is a gradient color wheel which changes the color of the crescent moon (Papar’s trademark) throughout the course of the day. This color-changing logo gives the wearer an immediate, emotional connection to loved ones at home, when traveling.

That’s what’s different - here’s what will feel familiar (though presented in a new way). The Anillo GMT functions in the same way as a traditional GMT watch, except it adds functionality to the classic sector dial design! Instead of reading the 2nd time off a hand, in our patent pending design, your “home” time is read off of the triangle on the GMT disc that rotates under a laser-cut, 24 section, sector dial. As with traditional GMTs, the time where you are (“local” time) is read on the watch hands.

The Anillo is powered by a Miyota 9075 movement, so it is a “true” GMT, where the hour hand jumps forward/backward as it is adjusted. To adjust the local time, unscrew the crown, pull it out 1 click, and twist the crown to the correct, local time. Note that the triangle on the GMT disc stays at your home time. Don’t forget to screw the crown back in to preserve the Anillo’s 100m water resistance!

How it works. what’s different.
